Plants With (non-edible) Ornamental Fruit
Many plants produce showy displays of berries or other fruit types that add interest and color to the garden when flowers are in hiding. Including plants with this symbol in your garden will help create an all-season landscape. Note that these plants have showy fruits but are generally inedible, and possibly even toxic. Plants with edible fruits can be just as showy - see Floridata's Vegetable and Edible Plant List.
The native gamma grass (Tripsacum dactyloides) blooms in summer. The tall stalks provide perfect vantage points from which dragonflies survey the surface of the water for food and friends. Click to download a large version (800x600) to display on your desktop.
